I love spinning! I love biking! I will choose the spin bike over any other cardio machine 9/10 times and even though I love hiking, if I’m doing an outdoor activity and the weather is nice, I’d prefer to be on a bike! It’s only fitting that I teach spin! Check out my latest spin class routines here:

If you’ve never been to a spin class, I highly recommend trying out a beginner’s class before testing these routines out on your own. At the class, make sure the instructor teaches you how to set up your bike correctly and teaches you about the resistance knob/gear. If you’re lucky enough, there will be a computer monitor that displays RPMs. You’ll see RPMs referenced in the routines I post here.
Ask the instructor about the common exercises that are done on the spin bike. For your reference, I will include sprints, seated climbs, standing climbs, standing jog, standing run, hoovers and charging. It’s important to take a live class or do your own research to help teach you the postures for each of the different exercises. In time, hopefully I can get some photos or a video on the blog demonstrating it all incase you can’t make it to spin classes in your area, but have access to a spin bike at your gym!
